Include the app version, phone model, iOS or Android version, and what happened. Never send passwords, payment details or private recordings.
Start listening
Press Play. Quiet Waves is selected the first time you open Ocean Escape. Tap the sound name to choose Waves with Rain or Waves in a Storm.
Set a timer
Choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes. The sound gradually fades before stopping. Choose All night to listen without a timer.
Listen with the screen off
Start playback, then lock your phone. Use the lock-screen controls to pause or resume. Keep Ocean Escape running; force-closing it ends playback.
No sound?
Check the phone’s media volume and the volume slider in Ocean Escape. Sound may be routed to headphones, Bluetooth or another speaker. Try Pause, then Play.
Playback stopped?
Check whether the sleep timer ended. A phone call, another audio app or disconnected headphones can interrupt playback. Reopen Ocean Escape and press Play if needed. On Android, also check whether your phone has restricted the app’s battery use.
Do I need the internet?
No connection is needed for playback: all three sounds are included in the installed app. Opening this website, email or social links needs the relevant external service. Cloud simulators are separate from the installed app.
What does the listening counter measure?
Audio playback time, not how long you slept. Ocean Escape does not detect or track sleep.
Ocean Escape elsewhere
Social links open external services. There are no embedded videos or social tracking tools on these pages.
